2014 Pagani Huayra Headlines Garage X Collection of High-Performance Vehicles All Selling With No Reserve During the 2025 Scottsdale Auction

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Dec. 26, 2024 – Barrett-Jackson, The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions, will sell the Garage X Collection during the 2025 Scottsdale Auction, Jan. 18-26 at WestWorld of Scottsdale. Headlining the Garage X Collection is the stunning and ultra exclusive mid-engine 2014 Pagani Huayra (preview), which features the Tempesta Package developed in collaboration with race car builder Dallara. Every vehicle from the Garage X Collection will cross the block with No Reserve.

“The 2014 Pagani Huayra is a masterpiece of European art,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “It’s a visual symphony of design, engineering and sophistication that blend into one of the most distinctive and masterfully built automobiles ever created. The Garage X Collection is comprised of distinctive collectible vehicles that are hard to find, and even more rare to own. The only way you’ll have the chance to take one home is to join us as a bidder in Scottsdale this January.”

Named after creator Horacio Pagani, the 2014 Pagani Huayra is powered by a Mercedes-AMG M158 twin-turbo V12 engine capable of producing 730 horsepower and 738 ft./lbs. of torque. The monocoque frame is constructed of carbo-titanium and rides on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear alloy wheels, each forged from a single aluminum block. It includes the Tempesta Package upgrade, which incorporates adjustable Öhlins shock absorbers, special front splitter, rear diffuser and redesigned underbody for maximum downforce.

Also from the Garage X Collection is the 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloce (preview). Its ferocious, naturally aspirated V12 engine produces 661 horsepower that rockets the Italian exotic car from 0 to 60 in 3.2 seconds. It features a gorgeous lightweight carbon-fiber body, prominent rear wing and dramatic scissor doors. The 2000 Ferrari 360 Modena (preview) is powered by a V8 engine that delivers 400 horsepower and is capable of 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds. Designed in collaboration with Pininfarina, it features a lightweight aluminum body and automated manual transmission with F1-style paddle shifters.

“If I had one word to describe the Garage X Collection, it would be ‘breathtaking,'” said Steve Davis, company president. “It’s one thing to see so many eclectic cars together at a show, but when they’re all a part of one collection, it makes them much more special. From the Italian Pagani to the iconic 1971 Nissan Skyline GT-R this collection will make our January auction one for the history books.”

Select Porsches from the collection include the 1993 model year 911 Turbo (preview), which is the first Porsche turbo model to boast a 3.6-liter engine producing 360 horsepower. One of only 1,500 produced worldwide, the 911 Turbo features a widebody design, signature “whale tail” spoiler and lowered suspension. The 1990 911 Carrera 964 RWB (preview) offers a custom paint finish, flared fenders, prominent front splitter and oversized rear wing. The 2007 911 GT3 RS (preview) is powered by a 3.6-liter engine paired to a 6-speed manual transmission that produces 415 horsepower; it goes from 0 to 60 mph of 4.0 seconds and has a top speed of 193 mph. The 2007 911 Turbo (preview) is the perfect blend of performance and everyday driving. Offering 480 horsepower from its 3.6-liter flat-6 engine, the all-wheel-drive sportscar ensures a spirited driving experience in various driving conditions.

Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the Garage X Collection include the 2005 SLR McLaren (preview) that combines German engineering with Formula 1-inspired British design. Capable of 617 horsepower from the supercharged V8 engine, it roars from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds with a top speed of 207 mph. It has a lightweight carbon-fiber enforced body with carbon-ceramic brakes and iconic butterfly door. The limited-edition 1989 190E 2.5-16 Evolution I (preview) was designed with aerodynamics in mind and is powered by 16-valve inline-4 engine that delivers 195 horsepower. The exterior features flared wheel arches, rear spoiler and lightweight materials for maximum stability at speed. Only 502 Evo I units were produced.

Also in the collection is a 1987 BMW E30 M3 (preview), the model that marked the debut of BMW’s M division’s now legendary sports sedan. With a 2.5-liter inline-4 engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, the lightweight sedan offers 192 horsepower. The 1989 M3 Evolution II (preview) is 102 in a limited production of 500 units and is finished in Misano Red.

Iconic JDMs from the Garage X Collection include a 1971 Nissan Skyline GT-R (preview), a model that has over 50 race victories in Japan, and a 1977 Toyota Celica (preview) is a race-inspired custom that blends performance with luxury. The collection’s 1994 Mazda RX-7 (preview) is a right-hand-drive sports car with 1.3-liter twin-turbo Wankel engine paired to a 5-speed manual transmission, while the 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STI (preview) powers through tarmac and trails with its symmetrical all-wheel-drive system.

Inspired by the James Bond movie “Spectre,” a 1991 Land Rover Defender (preview) embodies off-rapid capability infused with a bespoke luxury interior featuring premium Lucari seats and an Alcantra headliner.
