DRT Motorsports has launched a new communications accessory for some of the 2020 and newer Polaris RZR models. This easy-to-installed accessory helps maximize the driver’s ability to use onboard communications devices, minimizing the need to take one’s hands off the wheel.
This new-for-2025 product is designed to integrate with Push-To-Talk (PTT) Radio applications, bringing rapid-talk radio comms to the fingertips. Its use is not limited to radio though, as it can be utilized with horns or anything else that can be powered, like lights or even a windshield washer should one desire. This momentary switch engages whatever is powered when pushed, then cuts power when released.
DRT’s Product #20005SW21101 is made of 6061-T6 Aerospace grade aluminum for light weight and high durability, then finished in DRT Motorsports’ proprietary powder coat and subsequently laser-engraved with the DRT logo for a high-quality appearance.
The PTT adapter plate is designed for easy installation with only minor trimming needed. It will work with Polaris form-fitted steering wheels under Part Numbers 1824806 (2020-2021) and 1824823 (2020-Current) that use Steering Wheel Cover P/N 5456146-070. DRT Motorsports has also engineered this part to be compatible with Rugged Radios part numbers PTT-HM, PTT-HM-CCXL, PTT-HM-SC, PTT-HM-QD, PCI Radios art numbers 2966, 5301, 5324, or any button/switch that fits in a 5/8î (15.875mm) hole.
