PNEUMATIC HAS MET ITS MATCH: G4911 Cordless Tire Buffer is capable of 45 repairs
on a single 2.5Ah battery
DAVIDSON, N.C., February 3, 2025 – Ingersoll Rand Inc., (NYSE: IR), a global leader in
reliable and innovative power tools, has introduced the world’s first 20V tire buffer. The G4911
Cordless Tire Buffer can perform up to 45 repairs on a single 2.5Ah battery and prevents
expensive repair mistakes with a dedicated two speed selector for reaming and buffing that
controls max RPM, in alignment with U.S. Tire Manufacturers repair guidelines.
“Whether it’s quick work on passenger vehicles or tackling tough repairs on heavy equipment,
the G4911 makes tire repair easy and reliable,” said Tyler Laubach, associate product manager,
Surface Preparation and Construction Tools at Ingersoll Rand. “And the patent-pending angled
battery design provides greater tool accessibility inside small tires without the maneuverability
restrictions of an air hose.”

The G4911 is up to 25% quieter with 50% less vibration than
competitive air tools, greatly reducing shop noise and
operator discomfort. A low-profile lever throttle fully recesses
into the slim handle for maximum control while creating the
repair surface.
A bright 20 lumen LED eliminates the need for additional
lighting around the repair area, while the IPX6 rating protects against water ingress, enabling
outdoor use.
Compatible with all Ingersoll Rand IQV20™ batteries, this tool lets you ditch the air hose for
frustration-free productivity.
