U.S. Patriot’s commitment to recruiting, hiring, and retaining military spouses is reinforced through new MSEP partnership.
Lexington, KY (February 2025) – U.S. Patriot, a GALLS® company and the nation’s largest supplier of military and related high-performance gear for professionals, is proud to announce its official partnership with the Department of Defense’s Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP). This collaboration underscores U.S. Patriot’s dedication to supporting military families by providing meaningful career opportunities for military spouses.

The Department of Defense established MSEP in 2011 as part of its Spouse Education and Career Opportunities (SECO) initiative to address the unique employment challenges faced by military spouses. With a 21 percent unemployment rate and a 25 percent wage gap compared to their civilian counterparts, military spouses often struggle to find and maintain fulfilling careers due to frequent relocations. MSEP provides solutions by connecting them with partner employers who have committed to recruiting, hiring, promoting, and retaining military spouses.
Since its inception, MSEP has grown to include more than 950 employers and nonprofit organizations, helping military spouses secure over 360,000 jobs. As an MSEP partner, U.S. Patriot gains priority access to a diverse, highly skilled workforce while contributing to the economic stability of military families. The partnership provides U.S. Patriot with access to a vast talent pool, networking opportunities, and recognition through promotional activities that highlight its commitment to military spouse employment.
Further solidifying its commitment, U.S. Patriot recently participated in the MSEP Annual Partner Meeting ENGAGE 2025, held on Jan. 29-30, 2025, in Arlington, VA. This event united MSEP employers, military representatives, and government officials to discuss innovative strategies for enhancing military spouse employment. U.S. Patriot representatives engaged in collaborative discussions to strengthen recruitment efforts and reinforce their dedication to supporting military spouses through flexible work opportunities and professional development resources.
