1939 Lincoln Zephyr Built by Paul Teutul Jr. and 1969 Mustang Built for Keith Urban Highlight Custom Car Docket Headed to Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.  April 3, 2025 – Barrett-Jackson, The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions, is heading to its Palm Beach Auction, April 24-26, 2025, at the South Florida Fairgrounds with a number of coveted customs, led by a spectacular 1939 Lincoln Zephyr 3-Window Coupe (preview) built by Paul Teutul Jr., star of the reality TV series, “American Chopper.” Powered by a rebuilt flathead V12 with 3-speed manual transmission, the custom Zephyr is finished in Deep Midnight Blue “Dunkelblau” paint and retains the original Zephyr trim. Also crossing the block is a custom 1969 Ford Mustang fastback (preview) formerly owned by country music legend Keith Urban, which was included in his “Sweet Thing” music video.

It melds the beauty of vintage American design with a modern powertrain and current technology to create a truly stunning vehicle. The’69 Ford Mustang built for Keith Urban adds celebrity provenance to a remarkable build.  Of course, those are just two of the many customs we’re offering this year in Palm Beach, and each one will cross the block with No Reserve.”

A surprise gift from Nicole Kidman to Keith Urban for their second wedding anniversary, the custom 1969 Ford Mustang fastback (preview) is powered by a Coyote V8 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Mariana Blue, a custom color selected by Urban, the Mustang produces over 700 horsepower and features a custom 3D-printed grille inspired by the 2021 Mustang Mach 1, an aggressive hood scoop and wide sport tires.

Additional custom Mustangs crossing the block include an officially licensed 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute Edition (preview) that produces 1,097 horsepower from its twin-turbo V8 engine, direct-port methane system and 6-speed manual transmission. The cabin features recovered Cobra seats and a premium stereo system with Apple CarPlay and a backup camera. Powered by a 430-horsepower Coyote engine paired with 5-speed manual transmission, a custom 1969 Ford Mustang (preview) includes Shelby-style upgrades and a Vintage Air SureFit system.

“From the 1939 Lincoln Zephyr to a spectacular 1964 Chevrolet Corvette (preview), some of the very best customs based on American vehicles are headed to Palm Beach,”  said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. “Each is a nod to the professional builders who pour their talent and time into bridging our past with the future. The officially licensed 1967 Eleanor Tribute Edition Mustang (preview) is another classic example of what a well-thought-out custom build can represent.”

A custom 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova SS (preview) on the docket is powered by an LS3 525 horsepower V8 engine with 4-speed automatic transmission. It features new Wilwood brakes with drilled and slotted rotors and a C&R aluminum radiator with a fan package. The custom interior offers Porsche adjustable seats, AutoMeter gauges, a Budnik Gasser steering wheel and a new Bluetooth-capable stereo.

Custom Corvettes crossing the block in Palm Beach include a 1964 Chevrolet Corvette (preview) finished in Torch Red and has a 495-horsepower engine backed by a 5-speed manual transmission. The custom all-leather Butter interior was wrapped by Al Knoch and features Dakota Digital gauges, power windows, a Bluetooth-capable stereo and wood-trimmed 3-spoke steering wheel.

Additional American-built customs crossing the block in Palm Beach include:

  • 1971 Chevrolet Camaro (preview) – Known as “The Ultimate Camaro: 598,” features hand-fabricated Italian leather seats with blue accents, blue LED lighting, Alpine and Clarion sound system
  • 1966 Pontiac GTO (preview) – Features a Roadster Shop SPEC chassis, Baer disc brakes, Mosier 9-inch posi-traction rear end, RideTech coilovers and Forgeline Rallye wheels
  • 1967 Plymouth HEMI Belvedere (preview) – The full-body restoration was complete by  R/T Restoration and features a Hellcat crate engine producing 707 horsepower
  • 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air (preview) – Finished in Dark Forest Green Metallic with custom grille and front bumper, headlights with integrated turn signals, a third brake light and tinted glass
  • 1955 Chevrolet 210 Custom Coupe (preview) – Features a Woody’s Hotrods custom rear suspension, front tubular control arms, four-wheel power disc brakes and Painless wiring
